herbst, autumn, pure nature
Denkt man an Herbst, denkt man zuerst an buntes Laub, goldener Oktober und all die andern schönen Bilder, die man mit dieser Jahreszeit verbinden mag. Dass der Herbst eine weitaus größerer Bandbreite besitzt, ist erst einmal zweitrangig. Mir ging es da wie vielen anderen von Euch auch! Wenn noch das Kennenlernen der ersten Spiegelreflexkamera und die Bildgestaltung auf einen einströmt, ist der Berg, den man selbst gern erklimmen möchte, doch immens hoch.

Mir fiel es zu Beginn leichter, mich nur mit den Belichtungsprogrammen „Blendenautomatik“ bzw. „Zeitautomatik“ und der Bildgestaltung zu beschäftigen. So konnte ich den fotografischen Lernprozess doch etwas entspannter angehen! Erst nach und nach wurde das manuelle Fotografieren für mich interessant. Aber auch heute werden diese (halb)automatischen Programme noch gern genutzt, vor allem wenn ich mich auf ungewohnten Terrain bewege. Neben dem puren Erstellen von diesen Fotografien spielt aber auch das Bearbeiten von Fotos eine gewisse Rolle. Wobei es hier im Großen und Ganzen eher um die Optimierung von Farben, Kontrasten, Bildausschnitten oder das gelegentliche Wegretuschieren von störenden kleinen Details geht. Eine aufwendige Bildveränderung findet bei mir nur sehr selten statt!

Wenn es dann noch erfahrene Profis und Amateure gibt, die einem das fotografische Thema „Herbstfotos“ näher bringen, dann ist doch alles im grünen Bereich. Dazu braucht man diese nicht einmal persönlich zu kennen. Ein Internetzugang reicht hier sogar völlig aus! Und wenn man schon einmal da ist, kann man sich auch gleich noch von herbstlichen Fotos inspirieren lassen. Bei mir hat es dazu geführt, dass ich die schwermütigen Momente des Herbstblues mittlerweile den allseits beliebten bunten Motiven vorziehen möchte. Egal wie jeder von uns tickt, der Herbst bietet wohl den Meisten von uns wunderschöne Stunden mit der eigenen Kamera in der Hand.

Ambitionen, der beste Fotograf aller Zeiten werden zu wollen, habe ich dabei von je her nicht! Vielmehr möchte ich hier einfach nur Bilder machen, die das Thema „Herbst“ widerspiegeln. Und zwar so gut, wie sie mir zum jeweiligen Zeitpunkt möglich gewesen sind. Es erklärt sich von selbst, dass Leute ohne gewisse fotografische Vorbelastung (ich gehöre dazu!), Leute mit einem privaten fotografischen Umfeld oder Leute mit 10, 15, 20 oder mehr Jahren fotografischer Erfahrung nie auf einer gleichen Stufe der Entwicklung stehen werden. Auch wenn dieses gern einmal ausgeblendet wird, nur um sich ein wenig besser stellen zu können.

Im Gegensatz zu einigen anderen Online Ausstellungen auf meiner Page ist diese Fotosammlung nun chronologisch nach ihrer Entstehung angeordnet. So habt Ihr ein klein wenig auch die Gelegenheit Euch meine Veränderungen in Bezug auf herbstliche Motive und meine Fotografie anzuschauen. Nehmt Euch die Zeit und entscheidet in Ruhe, was Euch hier gefällt oder was ihr lieber anders gemacht hättet. Letzteres könnt Ihr zwar in der Galerie nicht öffentlich äußern, dürft es aber in Euren eigenen Fotos gezielt umsetzen. Und genau das ist dann auch der Gedanke, den ich mit so einem Vorgehen hier verfolgen möchte!

Nicht perfekt und besser, sondern nur anders und zufriedener!

The fact that autumn has a much wider range, is first of all secondary. I felt the same as many of you! If still the acquaintance with the first reflex camera and the picture creation on one flows, the mountain, which one would like to climb gladly, is nevertheless immensely high.

At the beginning, it was easier for me to deal only with the exposure programs "aperture priority" or "shutter priority" and the image composition. So I could approach the photographic learning process a little more relaxed! Only gradually did manual photography become interesting for me. But even today, these (semi-)automatic programs are still used with pleasure, especially when I move on unfamiliar terrain. Besides the pure creation of these photographs, the editing of photos also plays a certain role. But on the whole it's more about optimizing colors, contrasts, image details or the occasional retouching of disturbing small details. An elaborate image change takes place only very rarely with me!

If there are then still experienced professionals and amateurs, who bring the photographic topic "autumn photos" closer, then everything is nevertheless in the green range. You don't even need to know them personally. An internet access is even sufficient here! And if one is already there, one can be inspired also still equal by autumnal photos. For me, it has led to the fact that I now prefer the melancholy moments of the autumn blues to the ever-popular colorful motifs. No matter how each of us ticks, autumn probably offers most of us wonderful hours with our own camera in hand.

Ambitions, the best photographer of all time to want to become, I have not ever! Rather, I just want to make pictures that reflect the theme of "autumn". And that as good as they have been possible for me at the time. It is self-explanatory that people without a certain photographic background (I am one of them!), people with a private photographic environment or people with 10, 15, 20 or more years of photographic experience will never be on the same level of development. Even if this is faded out gladly once, only in order to be able to stand a little better.

In contrast to some other online exhibitions on my page, this photo collection is now arranged chronologically according to its origin. So you have a little bit also the opportunity to look at my changes in terms of autumnal motifs and my photography. Take your time and decide what you like here or what you would rather have done differently. The latter you may not express publicly in the gallery, but you may implement it specifically in your own photos. And exactly this is the thought, which I would like to pursue with such a procedure here!
